April 30, 2009- The Boys and Girls Club of Bastrop has decided to postpone the Jazz Jam scheduled this Saturday until this fall. "I appreciate all who have stepped up to the plate and contributed to making this event successful. However, we've been advised to minimize the risk of contamination by avoiding bringing large groups of people together. Since most of our musicians live out of the area and some of their fans were coming from out of state, the risks would have been heightened," said Janice Butler, BG Club president.
All tickets purchased will be honored at the later event. If anyone has questions, they may either contact Janice at 512-925-3210 or Andie Borchert at BG Club 321-6676.
