Bastrop River of Lights
Time: 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Details: Take in the Bastrop River of Lights, with 120 lighted displays in a variety of seasonal themes starting in Fisherman's Park and lighting the way down the Lower Colorado River to Ferry Park. To access this half-mile promenade, come down the stairs west of the intersection of Main and Pine Streets or select the fully accessible entrance at Fisherman’s Park on Farm Street. The Bastrop Chamber of Commerce and community organizations and individuals collectively and generously sponsor this festive experience for locals and visitors of all ages. Bastrop Harvest Art Fest
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Details: Head down to the Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market for the 30th Annual Harvest Art Fest for a special handcrafted shopping experience over Thanksgiving weekend. Shop handmade arts and crafts, home goods, pottery, leatherwork, jewelry, food and more from local artists and craftsmen at the art festival in historic downtown Bastrop.

Black Friday with Extended Main Street Business Hours
Time: Hours Vary by Location
Details: Starting the day after Thanksgiving, downtown Bastrop merchants are offering extended shopping hours through the holiday season. Times and locations vary.

Wassail Fest & Small Business Saturday
Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Details: Shoppers and downtown visitors are invited to warm up at the Small Business Saturday and inaugural Wassail Fest, a new event addition to the 2016 Lost Pines Christmas lineup. Wassail will be served throughout historic downtown Bastrop in various shops, stores and restaurants, and visitors are encouraged to sample for good cheer while wining, dining and doing a little Christmas shopping. Recipes will be judged on taste and presentation, and participating merchants will also battle for the People's Choice Award, in which visitors will be able to cast their vote for the best wassail. The event is held in conjunction with the American Express Small Business Saturday and is an excellent way to support your local small businesses.

Breakfast with Santa at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa
Time: 9 a.m. to Noon
Details: Join Santa and Mrs. Claus and their elves for the Annual Breakfast with Santa Event at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa. The celebration starts with sunrise fixings at the breakfast buffet, featuring an array of fresh fruit, hash brown casseroles and a tasty pancake and French toast station. Then, you and your wee ones can enjoy meet-and-greets and photo opportunities with Santa. Additional holiday-themed activities include: arts and crafts, a jump house and more. Bastrop Winter Wonderland
Time: Friday, December 9 from 3 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 10 from 9 a.m. t
Details: Bastrop is proud to present a Winter Wonderland on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10. Designed for children of all ages, the merry lineup features ice skating, hay rides, carriage rides, craft booths, food vendors, s'mores and fun with Santa and Mrs. Claus with Santa's Storybook Tent—along with a photobooth tent featuring Princess Elsa and Princess Anna from Disney's "Frozen." The weekend's performances include caroling as well as "A Currier & Ives Christmas" at the Bastrop Opera House. The extravaganza complete with savory four-course dinner served by a humorous Victorian waitstaff, a raucous theatrical European stage show and spirit-filled musical revue under the nine-foot tree. Lost Pines Christmas Wine Swirl

The Lost Pines Christmas Wine Swirl is Bastrop's premiere wine tasting event, featuring a dozen Texas wineries sampling their wines inside of unique boutiques. Top the night off with paired hors d'ouevres and holiday shopping in the most historic small town in Texas! Pick up your event wine glass, wrist band and a Swirl map at the Main Street Marketplace (921 Main Street), start your tour and sample some of Texas’ best wines and, concurrently, Bastrop’s great mix of specialty shops.

Bastrop Lighted Christmas Parade

Details: Bastrop's famous Lighted Christmas Parade features more than 100 fanciful floats and local participants, lighting up Main Street in this joyful tradition. With festive lights blazing, this year’s parade celebrates “There’s No Place Like Home for the Holidays...”—recalling the warmth and cherished memories of Christmases spent with friends and family and expressing bright hopes for Christmases to come.

Christmas Day Feast at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa
Time: Noon to 4 p.m.
Details: Eat, drink and be merry at our Christmas Day Feast at Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa.
