San Marcos ran past Bastrop 39-15 in a game that saw their rushers gain 500 yards. T.P.Miller scored on the first play of the game on a 82 yard run to put the Rattlers ahead 7-0. The next score came on a 48 yard run by Kevin Stiles to give the Rattlers a 13-0 lead when the kick failed. Dentray Washington scored on a 25 yard run and Andrew Semer kicked the extra point for Bastrop and the first quarter ended 13-7. In the 2nd quarter Josh Green scored two TDs on runs of 4 and 47 yards with extra point tries failing and the half ended with a San Marcos 25-7 lead. In the 3rd quarter, San Marcos scored on a 25 yard pass from Elijah Gonzales to Spencer Gourley to up the lead to 32-7. The Bears then scored on 7 yard pass from Michael Mills to Justin Wooley. Mills ran for the 2pt extra point and the Bears then trailed 32-15. Miller scored on another 82 yard run to finish the scoring in the game and San Marcos won 39-15. There was no scoring in the 4th period. The 1st downs were tied at 17 each, San Marcos led in rushing yards 500-237, and the Bears led in passing yards 112-25. Dentray Washington led Bastrop rushing with 185 yards on 26 carries.
